Why give herbs to horses?
Today's horse is far removed from it's grazing ancestor, but still requires the same diverse nutrition. Trainers & owners now have total responsibility for their horse's diet, with feeds and balancers providing the building blocks that your horse will need. Herbs deliver health-promoting actions within the body. For example, encouraging healing, anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory & anti-spasmodic actions. Many herbs work particularly well together to give added benefits to your horse.
At the Equine Herb Garden, we harness this knowledge to formulate our mixes. These are fed as infusions to maximize their efficacy.
Our Equine Products
Our organic, human-grade herbs are blended by hand and sold in heat-sealed foil pouches to preserve the natural ingredients. To maximize the active constituents available to your horse, they are intended to be fed as an infusion.
Each batch is traceable and checked by us. The herbs used are known for their safety and reliability and our mixes are intended to supplement a high fibre diet in addition to hay and/or grass.

Contains, plantain, yarrow, nettle, cleavers, rosehips and pot marigold.
Our Packaging
Our packaging is, wherever possible, compostable and recyclable and we use natural woodwool for packing our products ready for postage.
The paper and cellulose bags are biodegradable and compostable, while the tins and measuring cups are reusable and recyclable.

Alongside our expanding range of equine products, we also sell a small selection of human preparations.
Peaceful Tea
Delicious soothing restorative tea,
